Mitchell River Primitive Baptist Church – Devotion, NC

***This church burned down in October 2007, but the 12 members still meet in members’ homes while they work to raise money for a new church on the same site. Donations can be made to Mitchell River Primitive Baptist Church and mailed care of the church clerk at 191 Corbet Cockerham Rd in Dobson, NC 27017.

Services: 4th weekend of each month on Saturday and Sunday

Directions: From Interstate 77 going north, take exit 93. Hang a left at the end of the ramp. After 1.6 miles, turn right onto Kapps Mill Rd/NC-1330. In 1.8 miles, stay on NC-1330 by turning right onto River Road. After 3.5 miles, turn left onto Haystack Rd. The church is on your right in 0.7 mile.
